Self-Trust
How to stop outsourcing every decision and reconnect with your own judgment.
The Way Back is a weekly note for people who spend a lot of time thinking, achieving, and carrying responsibility — but sometimes lose touch with their own sense of direction along the way.
Short reflections on self-trust, awareness, meaningful change, and finding clarity when life gets noisy.
Free. Thoughtful. No noise for the sake of noise.

You can be doing well on paper and still feel like something is off.
You might be making decisions all day but second-guessing your own.
You might be accomplishing what you set out to accomplish while wondering why it doesn't feel the way you expected.
Or maybe there's simply so much noise — work, expectations, responsibilities, opinions — that it's become difficult to hear yourself think.
The Way Back is about creating enough space to hear yourself again.
Not finding the perfect answer.
Not becoming a different person.
Coming back to what you already know.
A lot of personal development starts from the assumption that something about you needs to be fixed.
I see it differently.
Most of us already have a surprising amount of wisdom about what matters, what isn't working, and what needs to change. The problem is that it gets buried beneath noise, expectations, old patterns, and the pressure to keep moving.
My work — and my writing — is about slowing that process down.
Becoming aware of what's actually happening. Getting oriented. Learning to trust your own judgment again. And making choices that feel more aligned with the person you want to be.
The Way Back explores the questions that tend to show up beneath the surface of work, relationships, ambition, change, and everyday life.
How to stop outsourcing every decision and reconnect with your own judgment.
Understanding what you're feeling, why you're reacting, and what may actually be happening beneath the surface.
Ambition, boundaries, burnout, responsibility, and the complicated relationship between what we do and who we believe we are.
Why knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
What to do when life looks fine from the outside but doesn't quite feel right on the inside.
A few places to start.

Why we overthink, how it keeps us stuck, and practical ways to trust yourself again.

I'm a Board-Certified Coach with a background in counseling and behavioral health.
My work sits at the intersection of mindfulness, behavior change, performance, and self-awareness — helping people better understand themselves so they can respond to life with greater clarity and intention.
The Way Back is where I explore those ideas outside the coaching room.
The Way Back gives you space to reflect on these ideas on your own.
Coaching gives us the opportunity to explore how they're showing up specifically in your life.
If you're navigating a transition, feeling stuck, questioning your direction, or simply trying to understand yourself more clearly, we can talk about where you are and whether coaching might help.
One thoughtful note at a time.
